When I started this new chapter I felt a little lost since I could do anything: choose the topics, time spent, what projects I would build, and the deadlines. I wanted to do a lot: improve previous skills, learn new skills, do code challenges, update my portfolio, help the community, be active on Twitter, blogging, but I also wanted to prioritize my mental and physical health.

At first, I divided my days to do a little of everything along the week, but sometimes I didn’t want to break a coding or learning flow or wasn’t feeling like doing something, and my planning became a mess!

So I started to use the #100DaysOfCode challenge to keep going but doing what I was feeling like that day or week. Some days I would focus on my portfolio, but do a few CSS images on the challenge account. Or I would pass the afternoon doing a course, but at the end of the day, I would use the challenge time to work on a side project. Besides that, I would have something to post on Twitter and a facilitator to connect to the community.

Now I have a flexible week routine, I do a little of some things every day, but I am choosing one bigger part per time, so I can finish some things but also keep everything going. As the first “big part” I choose my portfolio but along with it, I did two courses, daily CSS images, and community bonding. But also, lots of exercises, great breakfasts, therapy, roller skating, and obviously plenty of Halloween decor hahaha

Next post I will detail my crazy portfolio project that has the same “divide to conquer” concept!
